On a personal note...

Raised on a small farm in southwest Wisconsin, I grew up with two amazing parents, three inspiring brothers and a vivid imagination. At home, my brothers and I battled boredom by exploring the woods, building forts, drawing and inventing games, which inevitably lead us each to our chosen careers in graphic design, engineering, software development and piloting.

I've been fortunate enough to have traveled across Europe and New Zealand, and even lived in Australia for six months during college. I ended up happily settling in the Madison area with my husband and our two ridiculously cute dogs.

In the warm season you can find me fishing the Madison lakes, playing softball or working in the yard. When it turns cold I will be reading a book by the fireplace, inventing a new soup recipe in the kitchen, or trying a new winter sport. This winter I think I'll try cross-country skiing.
